BTEC Students' Uniform

At the beginning of the year, we informed all BTEC students that they are to wear blue or black jeans paired with a white or blue shirt. Starting in 2025, a BTEC puffer jacket will become part of the school uniform.

- Current BTEC Students (2024): You may continue to wear the designated attire until you complete your course.

- New BTEC Students (2025 and beyond): You are required to wear the Baken Academy school uniform, which will include the new BTEC jacket for uniformity and neatness.

 General Dress Code Policy

All students are ambassadors of Baken Academy, and their appearance should uphold our values of discipline and neatness. The dress code is applicable to all students enrolled at the school.

1. Blazers are mandatory on formal school days and must be worn when entering and leaving the premises.

2. No unauthorized modifications or additions to the uniform are permitted.

3. Accessories like colored contact lenses and visible tattoos are prohibited.

4. Hair must remain undyed, and exotic hairstyles are not allowed.

5. Fingernails must be short, clean, and well-groomed at all times.

6. Black school shoes are mandatory on formal school days. No alternative footwear is allowed with the formal uniform.

7. Casual Dress Days: When casual wear is allowed, students are expected to dress neatly. Beachwear, tight-fitting, transparent, or overly revealing clothing is not acceptable. Hair, shoes, and accessories must remain neat and appropriate.

Specific Rules for Girls (Grades RR-12 & BTEC):

- Hair must be tied back neatly and should not cover the face.

- Skirts must be no more than four fingers above the knee.

- Jewelry is limited to signet rings, small fine earrings (studs or small stones, not dangling), and one fine gold or silver necklace.

- Girls may wear only one pair of earrings (no double piercings).

- Clear or nude nail polish is allowed; no nail tips or excessively long nails.

 Specific Rules for Boys (Grades RR-12 & BTEC):

- Hair must be neatly cut, not extending over the ears, eyebrows, or shirt collar.

- Boys must be clean-shaven and maintain short, clean nails.

- No jewelry is allowed except for medical bracelets.
